How This All Started
The project was initially founded by Ruben Osipyan, who has over 18 years of experience in the high-tech industry. He currently serves as the CEO of the Science and Technology Angels Network, has founded startups himself, and teaches at the American University of Armenia. Through his engagement in angel investing, prior startup experience, and teaching, the content and insights of the project are shaped by specific, hands-on ecosystem knowledge.
As a personal project created for the ecosystem, our small team aims to support all ecosystem players in a way we personally see fit, not limited by corporate communication frameworks or agendas.
Our core belief is that success comes through collaboration (not consolidation). And to collaborate meaningfully, ecosystem players first need to understand one another. That is why our mission is to keep the ecosystem informed about what is happening within it.
In Armenia, it is often said that one hand does not clap, success requires partnership. This belief became reality when a chance meeting brought Ruben together with his former student, Greta Khachatryan. Greta comes from the marketing, PR, and strategic communications field and currently works as a Program Manager at a non-profit organization that bridges the communication gap between Armenia and the international community.
Together, we saw a clear need for a dedicated voice, one that brings visibility to the dynamic changes happening in Armenia’s startup ecosystem, celebrates local talent, creates a unified platform with essential ecosystem information, connects Armenian startups, shares unheard but truly inspiring stories, and helps international audiences access relevant insights. Today, we’re proud to be that voice, strengthening Armenia’s impact on the way to becoming a regional tech hub.
